When you are ready for a change and are looking for a getaway with a difference, escape to Geluksburg. Here you can stand in awe of the Ntintwa Mountain and her unique rock formations, or find your soul in the Lost Valley. This is the place where even Mother Nature comes to unwind.

Situated just 29km off the N3 in the mid Drakensberg (half way between Pretoria and the coast), the quaint village of Geluksburg is home to Gina's Self Catering Chalets.

Whether you need to simply escape from it all, or you are looking for a real challenge - you'll find it here. Activities include off road tracks for serious quad bike or 4x4 enthusiast, hiking, swimming, birding (if you're lucky you may spot the Ground Hornbill) or picnicking by the waterfall.

Enjoy and relax at our un spoilt place where the guinea fowls and hornbills will entertain you. This is a nature lovers paradise where crime is at a minimum. You can walk freely in our town and visit the "mall" where you can buy bare essentials (remember to bring your own if you can't live on Wilson toffees and bread only!) we also have 2 petrol pumps without petrol so remember your own. All you need for our fully equipped chalets is your own food, drinks, clothes, towels, fuel. Meals available if requested in advance.
